David R. Frauenshuh

David Frauenshuh has more than 45 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. With his extensive management and marketing expertise, he has built a reputation for himself as well as for Frauenshuh, Inc. Today, he has property ownership interest across the country. Within the industry, the name Frauenshuh is synonymous with honesty and integrity.

Frauenshuh, Inc. has a vast expertise in the areas of development, corporate service, property management and financing within the office, medical and mixed-use sectors. Over the years, David has provided strategic solutions for many organizations as it relates to their business model as well as bricks and mortar. Significant projects around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area include LaSalle Plaza, Infor Commons and St. Francis Hospital to name a few.

Mr. Frauenshuh is a graduate of Minnesota State University of Mankato and received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2011. A native of the Saint Paul area, he is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks and the Building Owners and Management Association (founding member RPA designation). Mr. Frauenshuh serves on the Board of many profit and non-profit organizations, including the following, Economic Club of Minnesota Board, Nanocopoeia Board, the National Prayer Breakfast Business Leaders Committee, the Children’s House of Hawaii Board, and Salvation Army National Advisory Board. He also performs outreach and Christian missionary work with several charitable organizations. Mr. Frauenshuh previously served as the Public Interest Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines for the Federal Housing Finance Board, Chairman of the Minnesota Prayer Breakfast, and Board member of Minnesota Military Family Foundation. He received the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame Award in 2010.

Dean M. Williamson, CCIM

RESPONSIBILITIES

Dean Williamson has been overseeing the Frauenshuh, Inc. operation over the past 10 years. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Dean continues to provide a wide array of services with a focus on corporate service representation, development, project management and governmental entitlement all on a local and national level.

EXPERIENCE

Dean started his career at Frauenshuh in 1992. He has diverse and extensive real estate experience in all markets including office, health care, industrial and retail, with a strong background in providing corporate service solutions for a variety of real estate clientele. He has successfully completed more than 3,000 acres of property brokerage and approximately 5 million square feet of real estate leasing, development and project management transactions over the years.

PERSONAL

Dean earned his Bachelor Degree in Management from the University of Minnesota where he was also a tenured member of the Golden Gopher Hockey Team from 1987–1990. He earned his CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute in 1997. He is a Twin Cities native residing with his family in Edina.


Matthew D. Frauenshuh

Matt is Chief Executive Officer of Fourteen Foods and Principal for Frauenshuh Inc. Founded in 2002 with the opening of one Dairy Queen Grill & Chill restaurant in Minnesota, Matt took ownership of Fourteen Foods in 2006 and led the then seven restaurants in the Minneapolis area. The company has grown to include more than 240 DQ Grill & Chill restaurants across 13 states under Matt’s leadership and supports more than 9,000 team members. Fourteen Foods is the largest operator of Dairy Queen franchises in the United States and continues to be rooted in a foundation of faith and family.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Along with Fourteen Foods, Matt shares his passion for service and community by giving his time to Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. He also serves on the national board member for The Salvation Army and is an active YPO member. Matt lives in Minnesota with his wife Beth and their four children.

Gary L. Lindstrom

RESPONSIBILITIES

Gary Lindstrom oversees all asset acquisitions and dispositions as well as asset management for all properties owned, managed and leased by Frauenshuh Inc. This portfolio includes 3.5 million square feet of office, industrial, retail and warehouse space throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Gary and his staff have historically been involved in the negotiation of more than 30 million square feet of new and renewal leases representing both landlords and tenants in Minnesota and 25 other states. He has formulated and executed real estate strategies for a range of companies from the small one office firm to the Fortune 500 national real estate user.

EXPERIENCE

Gary has more than 50 years of industry experience and is a ­licensed Real Estate Broker. Before co-founding Frauenshuh Inc. in 1983 with David Frauenshuh, Gary was an officer of Oxford Development Corporation and its predecessor, IDS Properties. He played a key role in the opening, leasing and management of the Minneapolis IDS Center and with Oxford, the Town Square project in Saint Paul. Significant projects with Frauenshuh include LaSalle Plaza in Minneapolis and Lawson Commons in St. Paul.

PERSONAL

Gary earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, as well as the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. He and his wife continue to reside in Scandia, Minnesota where they have lived for more than 40 years.
