Concierge/Security Officer


POSITION SUMMARY

Frauenshuh is seeking a Concierge/Security Officer that will greet employees, visitors, vendors, and represent the company brand to all those who pass through the main lobby of the building. The successful candidate must possess a professional demeanor, the ability to balance a myriad of daily tasks, and display superior communication abilities. In addition, this position involves support for quick and effective response to employees, security, facilities, and other related service needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Through appearance, performance and service orientation, project a consistent image that complements the property.

  • Adhere to formal operating policies and procedures that mandate certain customer service, access control and emergency response procedures.

  • Friendly, outgoing person that enjoys protecting and helping others.

  • Be able to build comradery and trust with fellow colleagues, management, property owners, tenants and guests.

  • Be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing.

  • Perform routine internal & external building tours. Be able to patrol the property served (at times being mobile and on your feet for long periods of time).

  • Adapt to different interactions and situations.

  • Write detailed incident reports.

  • Work with third-party security vendor and Dispatch Team with shift transition.

  • Assist with and monitor conference room schedule.

  • Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • High school diploma, GED, or 5 years of verifiable experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a corporate office setting

  • Work history must include demonstration of:

    o   Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

    o   Ability to work effectively under high stress situations

    o   Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask

    o   Contributing positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks

  • Schedule  -Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
