Frauenshuh provided master developer, planning and owner representation/development services for the Park Nicollet Medical Center/Park Village redevelopment project in St. Louis Park. Developed in 1995, the project consisted of a 150,000 square foot primary care facility and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) along with a new parking structure and 50,000 square feet of adjacent commercial development including restaurants, a movie theatre and retail services at the highly visible intersection of Hwy. 100 and Excelsior Boulevard in St. Louis Park. Today, this campus is a thriving example of an integrated health care campus and commercial redevelopment that serves as a model for similar projects both locally and nationally. In 2019, the commercial center was repositioned, with a conversion of the former theatre space to additional ancillary health care service, providing Park Nicollet needed expansion space. A former freestanding restaurant building was converted to a multi-tenant space for a dental clinic and relocated restaurant tenant.
