Matt is Chief Executive Officer of Frauenshuh, Inc and Fourteen Foods. Having been actively involved in Frauenshuh for years as Principal, Matt brings deep knowledge of the organization, a strong commitment to clients, and a clear vision for the future. As CEO, he oversees the company’s strategic direction and operations.
For more than four decades, Frauenshuh has been a trusted provider of commercial real estate solutions, locally and nationally helping clients create value, solve problems, and seize market opportunities. Frauenshuh offers a comprehensive suite of services including leasing and brokerage, tenant representation, development, project management, facility services, and property and asset management.
Fourteen Foods was founded in 2002 with the opening of one Dairy Queen Grill & Chill restaurant in Minnesota, Matt took ownership of Fourteen Foods in 2006 and led the then seven restaurants in the Minneapolis area. The company has grown to include more than 255 DQ Grill & Chill restaurants across thirteen states under Matt’s leadership and supports more than 9,000 team members. Fourteen Foods is the largest operator of Dairy Queen franchises in the United States and continues to be rooted in a foundation of faith and family. Outside of Frauenshuh and Dairy Queen, Matt is a key investor in Little Paper Kids and Flex Pharma.
Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Along with Fourteen Foods, Matt shares his passion for service and community by giving his time on the national board for The Salvation Army and is an active YPO member. Matt lives in Tennessee with his wife Beth and their four children.
